The Department of Training and Placement, the marketing division of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Technology plays a vital role and is becoming a key department of the institute. As the number of Engineering and Management colleges mushrooming in Tamil Nadu, are steadily on an unprecedented increase from the last decade and the competition for placement in MNC’s is equally sky rocketing. In this background the role of placement cell is being transformed into herculean task. To facilitate our students to groom themselves to meet the ever increasing challenges of the job market, a full-fledged placement cell is in operation in our college with a full time placement officer.

Our Placement Office is devices and executes the following tasks:-

  • Arranging industrial visits
  • Arranging in plant training for students.
  • Inviting various organizations for campus recruitment.
  • Training to suit various needs of industry.

For placement a large number of prospective employers are contacted during the year and efforts are made to invite reputed companies to visit our campus and to conduct campus recruitment drives. The primary objective of the HRD Cell is to accomplish a 100% placement for all the students. The Cell is assisted by student placement coordinators who lead a team of placement representatives from various courses of study. The HRD Cell ensures that the best arrangements and amenities are made available for the convenient and efficient conduction of the placement drive.

It plays a pivotal role in counseling and guiding the students for their successful career graph which is a crucial interlude between the completion of academic program of the students and their entry into the suitable employer. The HRD Cell also coordinates various activities related to career guidance of our students along with providing ample exposure to industrial training and introducing them into corporate culture by way of training them on soft skills, entrepreneurial etiquette with the adequate assistance of leading corporate trainers. In addition to campus placements the T & P wing organizes programs mock interviews, group discussions, case studies, etc. Thus our HRDC have always strived hard to be a trendsetter in both training and placements.
